UNLV's Future Scholars Series is a series of four events where students will get to hear from experts in their areas to learn more about the specialized academic opportunities we have at UNLV. These events are designed for students with a 3.5+ GPA

UNLV's Future Scholars Series presents our most high-achieving students with a unique look at some of UNLV’s available specialized academic opportunities. This is a series of four (4) different events where students will get to hear from experts in their areas to learn more about the programs and opportunities that will elevate their experience in college.

Our Future Scholars Series: An Introduction to Honors and Research event will give prospective students the ability to learn more about our prestigious UNLV Honors College, and to learn more about the many opportunities available to UNLV students to participate in research projects. Students who come to this series will also get the chance to connect with UNLV faculty who are currently conducting ground-breaking research!

Students attending our Scholar Series event can also enjoy an optional campus tour at 10am where they will learn more about our Admission requirements and tour our beautiful campus with a current student. Tours will leave from the Office of Admissions which is located in our Student Services Center Complex - Building B (#72 on the campus map.) 
 

Admission Information:

Space is limited for this event designed for Juniors and Seniors who have achieved at least a 3.5 GPA in high school. Check-in for the event will begin at 2:00pm inside the Marjorie Barrick Museum (#56 on the campus map.)

Parking Information:
Parking is available on the 5th and 6th floor of the Cottage Grove Parking Garage located at Maryland Parkway and Cottage Grove Avenue (#21 on the parking map).Please do not park in a space labeled "reserved." Handicap, metered, and 24-hour reservation spots are always enforced. 

Note: It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from the Cottage Grove Parking Garage to the Marjorie Barrick Museum.
