Be Prepared Series: Ca$h for College Part 2

Part of UNLV's "Be Prepared Series" designed to help students successfully navigate the various steps of the college admission process.

This program will provide information and instructional assistance on completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, better known as the FAFSA. Students will have the opportunity to complete the FAFSA at this program and receive guidance and assistance from Financial Aid staff members. Students should submit their FAFSA before February 1 to receive priority consideration for your college education.

 

Before you attend:

Visit the Federal Student Aid website and select “Before You Begin” under “Browse FAQs” for a list of what documents you should bring with you to the workshop to help you successfully complete the FAFSA. If you haven't filed your 2015 tax returns please bring your year-end pay stub or payroll advice listing your year-end earnings and withholdings, or last year’s tax returns.

Admissions Information:

This workshop is free for students and their families interested in filing the FAFSA.

Parking Information:
We recommend that you park in the Tropicana Parking Garage (#13 on the parking map).  A parking map can be accessed here. Please note that parking regulations are enforced during the week. Visitors to campus must purchase a parking pass from the machines located at the front of the garage. These machines are cash only. Please do not park in a space labeled "reserved."
