Join us to learn more about the prestigious UNLV Honors College and the high-level research opportunities available to UNLV students by observing the 2017 UNLV Undergraduate Research Slam.

The UNLV Office of Admissions is partnering with the Honors College and Office of Undergraduate Research to present a unique preview of select specialized academic opportunities available to UNLV students during the Honors & Research Symposium.  This program is designed for the most high-achieving prospective students who want to learn more about the programs and opportunities that will elevate their experience at UNLV.  Attendees will also get a special viewing of the championship round during the 2017 UNLV Undergraduate Research Slam.

Students attending this event can also experience an optional campus tour at 10:00am in order to learn more about UNLV admission requirements and explore our beautiful campus with a current student. Tours will leave from the Office of Admissions which is located in our Student Services Center Complex - Building B (#72 on the campus map.) 

Admission Information:

Space is limited for this event designed for high school juniors & seniors who have achieved at least a 3.50 GPA and select admitted students. Check-in for the event will begin at 2:15pm in front of the Philip J. Cohen Theatre on the first floor of the UNLV Student Union  (#66 on the campus map.)

Parking Information:
Parking is available on the 5th and 6th floor of the Cottage Grove Parking Garage located at Maryland Parkway and Cottage Grove Avenue (#21 on the parking map).Please do not park in a space labeled "reserved." Handicap, metered, and 24-hour reservation spots are always enforced. 

Note: It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from the Cottage Grove Parking Garage to the Student Union.
